LEVEL REGULATOR ATEX- EX HOMOLOGATED

Submerged float switch (patented): Water- resistant, insensitive to humidity and condensation.

 

USE

Regulation of particularly diesel oil, water and hidrocarbon mixture, motor oils, tools machine oils, etc.

The level regulator is EX homologated according to ATEX normative for uses in potentially explosive environment due to the presence of gas, vapours or fogs, correspondent to the following parametres:

Group and category tool II 1G

Modality of protection for the striking EEx ia

Group of striking IIC

Class of temperature T6

Range of environment temperature -20°C + 40°C

Protection level IP 68

The submerged float switch model LITTLE EX consists of :

• A single outer piece in blownmoulded Polythene.

• Internal weight fixing the rotation centre (gravity centre) close to the cable connection.

• Electric contact commutator max 21,4 mA – 9,6 V. self cleaning contacts with high distance between the contacts.

• Special blue cable for the immersion in hidrocarbons

The float switch is injection filled with closed cell nonhygroscopic expanded polyurethane, eliminating all air sealing the unit and completely surrounding the electric control switch.

Note

The regulator has to be connected to an intrinsic safety power circuit.
